As a standard connector for photovoltaic and inverter products, the photovoltaic DC connector has a standard interface. After four generations of product updates and iterations, it has been widely used for connecting photovoltaic, inverter, and peripheral devices. These devices are usually installed in extreme environments such as sand molds, beaches, mountains, and places with sufficient sunlight all year round. To ensure the normal operation of these devices, the quality of the photovoltaic DC connector directly determines the healthy operation of the entire system. Therefore, the EU standard photovoltaic DC connector needs to have a lifespan of more than 25 years.
As one of the earliest enterprises in China to integrate connector research and development, production, sales and service, Connfly has successfully developed a low-power, high plug, low temperature rise, and high fire resistant photovoltaic DC connector in year 2023 to provide more reliable photovoltaic DC connectors for enterprises such as photo voltaic and inverters. The rated bearing DC voltage is 1500 volts and the current is 40A. It uses PPO engineering plastic with CTI up to 600 volts as the insulation material. After vacuum quenching heat treatment, the crown spring hardness can reach up to HV430 degrees. Through good structural design, its creepage distance can reach more than 25mm. Thanks to exquisite design and unique material selection, Connfly photovoltaic DC connectors have passed TUV testing smoothly and have been mass-produced.
